Access All Areas Showcases

With so many of the world's live music industry leaders in town for ILMC, it’s a great time to showcase your new signing or host a band somewhere in town.

Any gigs at which a guest list can be arranged for ILMC delegates — no matter how big or how small — will be included in our Access All Areas programme, and advertised in the conference guide, website and mobile app.

To add your show, please email [email protected].

ILMC 27 New Opening Party

With ILMC now starting earlier, the conference kicks off on Thursday 5 March with a brand new opening party to get our Super Men and Wonder Women off to a flying start.

Block off your diary from 20:00 onwards because the ILMC ‘Avengers Assemble’ Opening Party will see members reunite to swap 12 months of crime-fighting tips, daring tricks and heroic tales from the music universe (and avoid the Friday morning rush by arriving the night before!).

It all takes place at the Royal Garden Hotel, and hosts Dot Tickets will be treating delegates to a complimentary drink (or three) with some spectacular surprises planned for the evening… more will be revealed shortly.

The ILMC Bursary Scheme

This year, ILMC is launching a Bursary Scheme for young professionals and start up companies. The scheme is intended to provide a route for those who would otherwise not be able to attend to participate in ILMC for the first time.

Patrons of the scheme are Robertson Taylor W&P Longreach.

The closing date to apply is Friday 30 January 2015, and successful applicants will be notified in the first week of February. A Bursary Scheme place is a full ILMC delegate pass and details of all successful applicants will be kept confidential.

To apply for one of the available bursary places, you must:
1.  Be employed by, or own, a company that employs less than 10 people, and that has not previously been represented at ILMC.
2. Have not previously attended an ILMC yourself.
3. Have gone through the ILMC nomination process (see details below).

To apply for a Bursary Scheme place, please download the application form here.

New Delegate Nomination Process

To ensure that new ILMC members are legitimate industry professionals, all applications must be accompanied by nominations from two existing ILMC members.

If you are unsure who you can ask to nominate you, please click here to see who attended ILMC 26 in 2014.

Once you have two referees, please ask them to email confirmation that they are willing to nominate you to [email protected].

Voting Open for Arthurs 2015!

Voting is now open for the Arthur Awards 2015 – the live music industry’s favourite and most established awards.

The Arthurs recognise the heroes and highlights of the international concert business, from promoters, agents and venues, to festivals, production stars and suppliers.

The awards will be presented during The ILMC ‘Night on the Tiles’ Gala Dinner – a luxurious five-star evening – at London’s Savoy Hotel on Saturday 7 March.

ILMC members, and all those who receive our regular eNews or subscribe to IQ Magazine, are eligible to vote and our virtual polling station will remain open until Friday 20 February 2014.

ILMC 27 launches!

The 27th edition of the International Live Music Conference is now live online, thinly disguised this time as its alter-ego: the Intergalactic League of Music Crimefighters. So dig out your old Marvel comics and start figuring out how to fit your underpants over your trousers, because we’re calling all would-be industry superheroes to assemble in our ‘Fortress of Platitudes’ for a truly supercharged edition of the world’s favourite live music conference.

And in fact, the conference will have mutated this year - not through the intervention of a radioactive spider or exotic space rock, but in response to the wishes of you, our members. The biggest change will be to the timing of the conference schedule, which will run from Thursday evening to late afternoon on Sunday. It will feature more events, more meeting space and more panels than ever before, with a new workshop programme and Tech Laboratory thrown in for good measure.

All the information you need is online, and we’ll be sending you regular updates via e.News, as well as in IQ Magazine. The website is also where you can vote for the Arthur Awards.

However, like the best spandex outfits, space is at a premium at ILMC. The conference always sells out in advance, so it’s advisable to sign-up quickly – not only to give yourself a chance of scooping the coveted Mug Award (for the first mug to register) but also to avoid the risk of missing out and being forever banished to the Phantom Zone.

Whether you decide to come in the guise of your mild-mannered alter-ego or revealed in your true identity as a caped music crimefighter, we look forward to seeing you there.
