Arthur voting ends Friday

For the last eight weeks, votes have been pouring in for the annual Oscar equivalents of the live music industry, The Arthurs. But with our virtual polling station closing at 18:00 GMT on Friday, there’s still time to cast your vote and potentially help to make someone’s year.

All ILMC members and IQ subscribers are eligible to vote, so if you haven’t already, click below to cast yours.

The Arthur Awards will be presented during The ‘Night on the Tiles’ Gala Dinner at London’s Savoy Hotel on Saturday 7 March. To join the heroes and heroines of the international live music world for it’s most sumptuous of nights, sign-up when you register for ILMC, or email registrati[email protected] to book a place.

More Dragons' Den guests revealed

With the weight of last week’s ILMC agenda announcement clogging up inboxes due to its sheer scale, we wanted to wait until today before announcing which industry supermen and wonder women will be participating in our Dragons' Den mentoring sessions this year.
Friday 6 March (15:30 – 16:30) sees two of Europe’s best known and most successful promoters take the hot seat as Live Nation Spain chairman Pino Sagliocco and Jackie Lombard, head of Inter Concerts in France, discuss a lifetime at the top of their respective markets along with plenty of advice for new professionals.
The following morning (11:30 – 12:30) Sensible Music head Andrew Zweck imparts decades of wisdom, as the agent and producer for tours by Roger Waters, Depeche Mode and Mark Knopfler, amongst many others. Zweck is followed that afternoon (15:30 – 16:30) by Move Concerts head and Latin American pioneer Phil Rodriguez, as previously announced.

Dragons' Den mentoring sessions have a strict capacity, and seats are issued on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s advisable to arrive early to grab a place.

Saturday night at ILMC

If you’re not one of the slightly crazed heroes battling it out at theMatch of the Year football tournament, Saturday night at ILMC is all about the ‘Night on the Tiles’ Gala Dinner & Arthur Awards. The champagne drenched, five-star night of luxury takes place at The Savoy Hotel where the live music industry’s Oscar equivalents are handed out.
With magic on the cards and some truly super performances lined up, a crazy gadget or two and the annual pop quiz, it has the makings of an unforgettable evening.
There's still time to secure your place at the live music industry’s best-loved annual awards ceremony, so sign-up by ticking the box when you register, or email[email protected] for more info or for table sales.
Later that night, once glory and honours have been bestowed, delegates will be winding down (or more likely cranking up) at the Sonic Boom Karaoke back at the hotel, until the early hours.
Hosted by ID&C, Sonic Boom Karaoke is a late night melting pot for anyone who can attempt a tune, shake a tambourine, or who just fancies a giggle. With boxes of props and original 90s costumes for inspiration, as well as prizes for the best Backstreet Boys impersonation, this late night zone of bad fashion sense and even worse warbling will keep you amused for hours...
