ILMC 28 Dates Announced

With days getting colder, nights darker, and the festival summer now a distant memory, there’s at least one shining light on the horizon… ILMC 28 launches soon!

ILMC 28 will take place in London from 3-6 March 2016, so be sure to block out the dates in your diary. Also that week, both the ILMC Production Meeting and Green Events & Innovation Conference will run on Thursday 3 March 2016, the day before ILMC’s main panels and workshops begin.

Registration for all three events will open in the second week of November, when full conference information will be available online, via eNews updates, and in IQ Magazine. For now though, make sure you add the dates to your diary so that you don’t miss out on the three most important days in the live music calendar…

ILMC 28 Agenda Input Requested

Work has now begun on the ILMC agenda for 2016, so if there is a particular topic, burning issue, or even a ready-made session that you feel should be making an appearance at ILMC 28, now is the perfect time to get in touch and share your ideas.

The ILMC agenda has always been formed directly by the live music industry, and we rely on input from our members around the world. So, if you have a suggestion, please drop a line to [email protected]

ILMC Launches New Festival Event

The International Live Music Conference (ILMC) has today announced the launch of a new event to bring the festival world together alongside exclusive showcases and Q&As with some of the industry’s most renowned booking agencies.

The International Festival Forum (IFF) will be an invitation-only event aimed at festivals and agents, taking place in London from 30 September – 1 October, 2015.

Founding association partners on the event are the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF), De Concert!, the International Jazz Festivals Organization and International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) Europe. Founding agency partners include The Agency Group, Coda, Primary Talent International and X-ray Touring.
“The philosophy behind IFF is two fold,” says ILMC’s Greg Parmley. “First, to build a unique forum where leaders and innovators in the festival world can meet and exchange ideas; and second, to provide a platform for festivals and agencies with targeted networking, Q&As and by showcasing the best festival-ready, agency-signed artists.”
Ruud Berends, from Networking Music, a partner on IFF, says: “It’s hugely exciting to create this new platform in London matching all the international buyers and sellers in an organic way during such a key period of the year.”
The Agency Group’s MD Geoff Meall comments: “I’m very pleased to joining the advisory board for the nascent IFF. I thinks it’s a fascinating initiative that will strive to bring festival bookers and the agents closer together in a more productive fashion than current exists.”
IFF takes place across two venues: Proud Camden and historic music venue Dingwalls next door. The morning element will feature unique panels and workshops, while the afternoon and evening is dedicated to agency Q&As and showcases. Full event information is online at
